Accessibility Statement
Anime Empire treats accessibility as part of the service we owe every customer. This site was made accessible according to Israeli Standard IS 5568 at conformance level AA, based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines and the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.
Current accessibility status
- Semantic markup with an ordered heading structure, landmarks and labelled form fields.
- Full keyboard operability (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Esc) with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Alternative text for meaningful images; animation and motion can be stopped.
- Text contrast ratios meet level AA, with alternative high-contrast modes available.
- Responsive on phone, tablet and desktop, in Hebrew, English and Arabic including RTL layout.
The accessibility menu
Every page has an accessibility button (person icon) in the lower corner. It provides:
- Text enlargement and reduction up to 200%
- High contrast, dark or light
- Link highlighting and heading highlighting
- Readable font and increased text spacing
- Large cursor and keyboard focus highlighting
- Reading guide and reading mask
- Stop animations and motion
- Color blindness modes (protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia, monochrome)
- Reset all settings
Exclusions
Some flows, including the checkout pages, are provided by a third party (Shopify) and are not fully under our control. We keep working to improve accessibility across the site. If you meet a page or component that is not accessible, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
